About Us

Founded in 2000, Atlantis identified an opportunity for a new approach to property. The proposition was one of aggressive acquisition and long-term ownership, rejecting the conventional acceptance of a cyclical buying and selling model.

Through this strategy Atlantis has, over eighteen years, built a formidable portfolio throughout the United Kingdom, in the process becoming one of the country's most prolific private landlords. With a working capital in excess of £40m, Atlantis Holdings continues to be active in searching out high yield opportunities.

This year, as our domestic investments and trading business continue to thrive and expand, we have taken considerable strides to increase our international activity. With our first overseas investments already complete, 2018 promises to be our most exciting year yet.

    John Jac is the founder, Chairman and ultimate owner of Atlantis. An inspirational and visionary leader with an entrepreneurial instinct, John Jac guides and oversees the long-term direction of the business.

    Heavily motivated and influenced by his late father and with an underlying passion for property, John Jac’s unique drive for success has led to the continual growth of the business to where it is today. With the company’s strong foundations behind him John Jac is now looking forward to further expansion based on the same considered principles that have served the business so well to date.

    With the business having expanded on an international scale John Jac is based in The Bahamas. He is a family man and is married to Sally. They have four children Annabelle, Charlie, Jessica and Little John.

    Andrew is Chief Executive Officer and responsible for the management of the trading company, as well as the company’s real estate assets both domestic and international.

    Andrew became Managing Director of the business in 2006 and works closely with John Jac on both the acquisition, development and disposal of the group’s larger real estate holdings. In addition Andrew is heavily involved in the conveyancing side of the business dealing with new lettings, renewals and rent reviews of the Group’s large tenant base, which ranges from independent traders to large international brands.

    Andrew is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and lives in Thailand with his wife Anong, and their two children James and Katie.

    Koichi is the Chief Financial Officer and manages the finances, planning, record keeping, and reporting, as well as overseeing the finances of John Jac’s charity, the John Sykes Foundation.

    Since joining the company in 2012, Koichi has been promoted from within to his current position and has an impressive flair for real estate accounting, including both residential and commercial service charge management which is an area of particular expertise.

    Koichi is a strategic thinker and is ranked among the top 100 chess players in the UK!

• Details of your credit score, any adverse credit, CCJs, Notices of correction and bankruptcy status

• Details of agent(s), or other persons acting on your behalf

• A copy of your passport and/or your national identification card (if applicable), or other forms of identification to satisfy our Right to Rent check requirements.

The provision of the above details is required from you to enable us to perform our role as a professional and responsible landlord.

From time to time you may voluntarily give us further personal data including (but not limited to) the following:

• Deed Poll or Marriage Certificates (in the event that you change your name)

• Health data relating to accidents or incidents on site that we are required to collect under Health and Safety legislation

• Mortgage account numbers and references from banks

• Death certificates from the executors of your estate

• Registered power of attorney

• Evidence of bankruptcy or insolvency

Information may be held at our office in the UK and on Dropbox. Information may also be held by our group companies, and third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described above.

We have security measures in place to seek to ensure that there is appropriate security for information we hold including those measures detailed in our Data Protection Policy.

How long your personal information will be kept

We may retain information for up to 12 years after we have ceased owning a property in accordance with UK tax and liability laws.

Reasons we can collect and use your personal information

We rely on “contract” as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal data in order to carry out the functions described in our leases and tenancy agreements.
